[I wrote the following text on 8th June, 2017. All parts of this text refer to that timeline, and have not be altered]
Who wishes âHappy New Year!!â in the middle of June? A crazy person, thatâs who! I take the role of that crazy person today. And with solid reasoning backing me. For a normal person, a new year is always closely related to new hopes, new dreams, new wishes, and new resolutions. People often pin their hopes on a ânew beginningâ to bring about the changes that they wish for in their lives. These changes typically go against the personâs daily routine lifestyle – not so easy. Please note that Iâve only chosen the new year as a representative of a new beginning in oneâs life. It can be a new job, a new marriage, or anything.
But take out this new year, and insert the middle of June (normal life) into the same scenario. âOh! come on, itâs hard, and I lack motivation.â, or an answer on the similar lines is not uncommon. What magic does the new yearsâ time or a new beginning have here? The truth is that it doesnât. Itâs all in the mind. What if you or I could just tell our hard-wired mind that our new year begins today? From my experience, the answer is that we get the same drive and motivation.

I have also applied the same concept to deeper levels of my life. In situations where I was having a challenging day, I have told myself mid-day that my next 24-hours begin now. In essence, a brand-new potential-filled day stands right before me, and there is only a ânowâ in this context.
With this start, the possibilities of what you could achieve with your new day or new year are endless. I wish you a happy new year!
[Thus, I start my 2019, and wish you a “tremendous” New Year – 2019 2020]
